False Advertising

I bought some bracelets that were pictured and described as solid sterling silver and were indeed stamped with "925". I bought them with the intent not to wear them but to cut them apart and incorporate them into my own jewelry. Guess what, when I cut into the metal, it was brass PLATED with silver! I contacted the seller who professed to have no knowledge of this and that their "factory" told them it was silver. They offered a refund, but when I asked if I could exchange them for real silver, they said that everything from their "factory" is the same. Again, they offered a refund and a discount on future purchases. I didn't pay that much and since they camefrom China, the process of returning them and then ordering something else would just take too much time and just wouldn't be worth it to me. I would however, like to know if there is a way to let other buyers know that this seller is falsley labeling and advertising their product.|||All you can do Is leave them negative feedback, and state in the text line that they falsely advertised their products.|||Leave negetive feedback and state: Item was silverplated brass not sterling. Seller says all jewelry is same.|||Is the seller asking you to return the items before they will refund? Most of the Chinese sellers will refund without a return, once they get caught, peddling carp or non authentic items. The only way to warm others is to leave NEG feedback and ding the seller's stars. Your seller is not going to exchange the item for "real solid silver" Feedback example: Item SNAD not solid silver as described.|||Amazing...buyers buy cheap crap from China, then wonder why it's cheap crap.|||Can we see the item number please? I don't see any recent purchases that you have made for sterling silver. I can only assume that since it is a chinese seller selling jewelery, there must have already been plenty of warnings in their feedback that should have warned you off like you want to do for others...|||I do not understand why anyone would think they could buy sterling silver jewelry from China on eBay and have it be genuine? Not going to happen.|||Most of the jewelry on this site is from China and not solid. The gold is the same. The dropshippers are sometimes not aware either because they are told it is solid.||||||No, it seems to never occur. They see the cheap price and want to believe they are getting a steal.... not going to happen, it is all fake
