another took bid with my bid?

I had a maximum bid in an auction of $25.00 and another bidder took the bid over with my bid of $25.00. Why did i loose the bid when I had the bid first?|||Can you give us the listing number? Each bidder only has to beat the SHOWING bid by a bid increment. Lots of times people bid exactly the same amount, especially newbies. Others know that you add a few pennies just in case, never bid in round numbers!|||He bid on February 25th. You bid on the 26th. In case of a tie, earlier bid takes the lead.
