Defective item sent back, what now?

Hi all, I received a defective item and sent it back for a refund. But in my heading under My Ebay it says that I need to "pay for 1 item", which is the item that i had already paid for and returned. Do I need to do anything official with Ebay, or just kind of wait for this notice to go away? Thanks! Chris|||Your My eBay page is for your records only. If the return is settled, you can safely delete that item from your Won list.friends Director,|||Thank you Friendly!|||Did you open a claim for a refund? If not, do it before the 45 days past. Not all sellers will refund without being forced to.|||Funk..., Did the seller already refund the price? If so you will receive the message for 30 days, you may also get some payment reminders from ebay. These are automated, not sent by the seller. Contact your seller, ask them to mark the item as paid in their selling page, this will shut off the notice and stop any ebay messages.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I did not sell you my opinion|||You can mark it paid in your my ebay-don't need seller to do soIt may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"|||Chris.....PLEASE tell me you sent this item back with delivery confirmation.....|||"I received a defective item and sent it back for a refund. When a seller refunds you, the system auto reverses in your MY Ebay page and shows once again (even though paid) you have an item 1 open for payment. This is not done by the seller, but Ebay's system, when a refund is given. The MY EBAY page is for your eyes and records only. The only thing you need to do IF you have been refunded, is to click (pull down menu) the "Payment sent" or Just Delete it.||||||Maybe it's me and I'm 'special'. As if it wasn't obvious.|||I hope you aren't special because this has caused a lot of buyer confusion over the years.|||Maybe it's being rolled out...? I noticed it the first time in January, I think...? Good thing too because the old way, I once re-paid for a refunded item twice, when it appeared in my "pay all sellers at once" thingie!|||James you must be special or one of the "chosen" as it still did that for me only last month Is Ebay "playing" again trying new things before rolling it out to everyone?
