I am having a problem with iTunes importing music from my external hard drive. The iTunes program is located on my computer, but my music is on my external hard drive. I went to advanced, under preferences, and selected the location for my music. No matter what I do, such as dragging the files into iTunes or copying them to the media folder, it does not locate them and display them on iTunes. I already converted my music to 256 kbps in the AAC format by using a special audio converter software program before I downloaded iTunes. Does anyone know how I may be able to solve this problem? Thanks.
