My daughter's Ipod kept getting the Firewire not supported message. I found online that I should save all of her music, then restore the Ipod. We did that, but I moved all of the music files from a flash drive to Itunes, then restored her Ipod. That seemed to fix the Firewire error, but now we can't load the majority of the music back onto the Ipod. It says the file cannot be found, there is an exclamation point in a circle next to the song name in Itunes when we try to drag and drop it onto her Ipod. Most of this music was wiped off the computer when we had a computer issue, but it was either purchased from Itunes or copied from a CD. I do have a file in the Previous Itunes Libraries folder, called 'iTunes Library 2007-10-04.itl'. There are a couple of later dated ones as well. Is there any way to get this music back on her Ipod?
